Fiart Academy, a school to train the nautical professionals of tomorrow
We are pleased to announce that the Fiart Academy, a training school dedicated to Ruggiero di Luggo, founder of our shipyard and father of Italian boating, is now a concrete reality.
A few days ago, the school was officially opened at our factory in Baia, in the presence of CEO Giancarlo di Luggo, local authorities and employees.
Marco Vertecchi, Behavioural Coach and Managing Director in Fiart, had the honour of giving the school its christening.
“Our industry offers interesting job opportunities and a stimulating working environment, which I am sure will open up new perspectives for many young people.” is the comment by Marco Vertecchi “The aim of our Academy is to discover new talents, train them and introduce them to the world of work, offering them the opportunity to study and demonstrate their skills.”
Commitment, dedication, passion that have become a solid reality over the years.
The first courses, dedicated to internal training, have already started. Thanks to the collaboration with local institutions and a team of high-profile trainers, every Friday our employees address issues related to safety in the marine and production processes, marketing and development.
Fiart’s experience is also available to the children of our employees, in a continuum that wants to witness the deep gratitude of the property and the managment towards those who made possible the growth and development of the company in its more than sixty years of history.
The Fiart Academy is a non-profit foundation, which looks with attention and lively participation also outside, in the territory where it is inserted and where very often the discomfort, juvenile species, is strong.
For this reason we have signed an agreement with the Campania Region in the framework of the GOL project, the “Guarantee of Employability of Workers” program provided by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), within the framework of active policies for work and training.
Thanks to this agreement from September will leave special courses lasting about six months, oriented to the different production processes related to the design and construction of yachts, such as electronics, carpentry, mechanics, without neglecting the company management, with concrete opportunities for occupational integration at the end of the training course.
The best will also have the opportunity to attend a free course for the achievement of the sailing license to become a skipper, a dream for many young people, a unique opportunity for the whole territory.
